Harpy Jaskier au

I like creature aus with him, they’re all so creative! But my favorites are when they aren’t creatures that sing.

Juvenile harpy Jaskier (typical in the way of his kind, screechy and flighty and not prone to aggression, social as he is) was caught by a nobleman who wanted to boast the most expensive, exotic songbird around. Unfortunately, he got harpies and sirens mixed up.

Jaskier eventually learns how to sing for his dinner, even develops a passion for it. But he’s humiliated his owner beyond redemption by that point. He’s slated to be the main event for the next recreational ‘foxhunt’ when a Witcher arrives.
